Healthy Eating
Arteries are blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart to the rest of the body. They branch into smaller arterioles to reach the organs and tissues. A buildup of plaque can narrow these arteries, decreasing blood flow to the organ supplied by them. Medications can help unclog and clear the arteries but remember, they have side effects too. If medicines are used for too long, they can damage your kidneys and liver with time.
