Healthy Eating
Kidney disease is a common illness that affects around 10% of the world’s population. The kidneys, which are little bean-shaped organs, perform a number of important functions. They filter toxins, release hormones that regulate blood pressure, balance fluids in the body, produce urine, and perform a variety of other crucial functions. Most people with severe renal disease must consume a kidney-friendly diet that decreases the amount of waste in their blood. This diet is often referred to as a renal diet.
